Contact

The Hamilton Review of Books is a virtual publication whose staff members meet, work, and learn on the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, and Mississauguas.

In addition to these territories being covered by the Upper Canada Treaties, these lands are protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement based on peace, friendship, and respect between the Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, and Mississaugas to share and care for the land.

We stand in solidarity today and every day, honouring and holding space for the Indigenous Peoples of the territories we are privileged to inhabit across Turtle Island.

We are all treaty people and a land acknowledgement is only the beginning of the collective work we must do in walking towards Reconciliation. Learn more about the land you are on by clicking the button below.
